“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.” –Revelation 3:20

Hello Glad Tidings!

We believe that God is knocking on the door of our hearts, calling us to invite Him in and commune with Him in a deeper way. God is calling us as a church to have the same spiritual temperature—a greater temperature, boiling over with the presence of His spirit.

In the month of September, we want to spend 21 days fasting and praying, beginning Wednesday, September 6 and ending Wednesday, September 27. Through this season, we want to spend time with God, praying that He would open the door of our hearts in three ways:

1) Open the door to repentance of being lukewarm
2) Open the door to fellowshipping with Him like never before
3) Open the door to the power of the Holy Spirit to reach the nations

Seeking God in this way will take proximity, time, and sacrifice.

We want to encourage your whole family to be a part of this season of spiritual growth. As our Kids Ministry follows the same spiritual emphasis, this is a great opportunity for parents to lead kids in their own spiritual growth.

Corey Russel will be preaching at Glad Tidings this Sunday, September 3.

Corey Russell has served on the senior leadership team of the International House of Prayer since 2000. He travels nationally and internationally preaching on themes such as Knowledge of God, Intercession, and the Forerunner Ministry. Corey has written several books including “Glory Within,” “Ancient Paths,” and “Prayer,” and has released a recent CD, “Ask of Me.” Corey resides in Kansas City with his wife Dana and their three daughters, Trinity, Mya, & Hadassah.
