What's Happening... March 7-13

Here at Good News we value diversity in our family and we love connecting with our International Community. We will be hosting a special luncheon for you on Sunday, March 21 in the Student Auditorium after 2nd service. The staff will be happy to see you and it will be good to fellowship together! Members please join us at our annual business meeting. We will be voting on deacons and going over the previous years financial statements.

We are believing for a night of recharging, refreshing, and restoring on this RECHARGE night for ladies all throughout the community! From 6:30 PM - 8 we will pray, encourage, and fellowship together, and there will be a time to follow to hang out and enjoy the evening with awesome women. There will be no childcare provided, so please make arrangements now in order to have a night of recharging with Jesus and others!

We are going to be having a special Good Friday service on April 2nd at 6:30pm. Join us as we reflect what Jesus did for us on the cross and for then stay after to enjoy some refreshments and community with your Good News family. Every marriage is either moving toward complete union or drifting toward isolation. Where are you? Is your relationship stuck, repeating the same old patterns? Our early life experiences teach us how to love and we also have a natural way of showing and receiving love. These things all affect our relationships. With the books How We Love and The 5 Love Languages as our tools, and the Bible as our foundation, we will move our marriages toward union and purpose. If you have recently lost a loved one, please join us and be heard at Grief Share! You are not alone, and this class is a powerful opportunity to find healing and restoration moving forward. Grief Share helps group members apply biblical principles to the healing process after the death of a loved one. Throughout the videos and workbook, participants see how the gospel brings hope and restoration. This group meets every Tuesday night for 13 weeks from 6:30-8:30pm. Book costs $16. Femi's Heart Foundation is holding a blood drive here at Good News on Saturday March 27th, 2021 from 10 AM - 3 PM. Femi was diagnosed with a congenital heart disease at age nine and began hosting blood drives a year after her heart transplant to give back to her community.
